Participate in Research


Trans Health Research run a number of trans health research projects at any given time. Research projects that are currently recruiting can be found below. These include national online surveys and clinical research projects, involving in-person visits at our research clinics in Melbourne, Australia.

TRANSform Project

A national online research project designed to investigate the health and wellbeing of the Australian trans and gender-diverse community, aged 16 and older.

Low-dose Testosterone RCT

This study concerns the use of low-dose of testosterone for the purposes of gender affirmation.

GAME Study

This project aims to uncover the effects of gender affirming hormones on skeletal muscle health, fitness, and performance. Involves in-person research visits in Melbourne, Victoria.

LIGHT Study

This study is following people over the first 12 months of gender-affirming hormones to understand how their immune system changes.
